Affirmation
of Baptism

Affirmation of Baptism — or more commonly called Confirmation — is a faith formation ministry that includes home, church, and community. Affirmation of Baptism helps young people to more deeply appreciate their baptism covenant from God (or to prepare for baptism), affirming their commitment in Jesus' name to:

• Live among God’s faithful people

• Hear the Word of God and share Eucharist

• Proclaim Good News in speech & action

• Serve all people in Jesus’ name

• Strive for justice and peace wherever you go

Confirmation classes typically meet the first and third Wednesday's of the month from September to May at 6 p.m. in Immanuel's meeting room. All 6th-8th graders are invited to join the group.
